Beautiful, crisp Opening Day, April 1st and we aren’t a foollin, it was a great Opening Day. Loved seeing all our friends and neighbors with their hugs and furry friends. The tulips were gorgeous and the azaleas about to be in full bloom!
We were so busy, I didn’t even get to take pictures!
Almost all the “Fox in the Hen House” egg gathering aprons sold out!!! Kids totally love putting the eggs in the pockets! Rachael is happy to hear this and is sewing away for the upcoming Bentonville Market and Spring Craft Show! Loving the opportunity to work and still be a Mom!
We even sold clothing, as in our linen vests! Never dreamed we’d sell clothes this early. Next week for sure, we’ll have medium and larges in the Spring Vests and newest Skirt fabrics! Guess I’ll be cutting Monday!
Janice makes our bags that we give away with each purchase……we ran out! And Janice is so happy for the work! Friday she was inserting the “Olive Loom with Love in Every Stitch” twill for these one-of-a-kind drawstring bags.. Customers absolutely LOVE picking out their bag!
This new fabric for Spring skirts was very popular! For sure, we’ll have more sizes available next week! Kat is about to learn how to make egg gathering aprons!
Lacey started today and she will be our helper at the Markets and backups for Bentonville and Fayetteville. She too is a stay-at-home Mom, has a craft business and is President of the County Extension Clubs! Her mother-in-law, Sandy is a beautiful seamstress and helps us out with our aprons! More later after I get her pictures!
Rosie, as in Rose Collins, came by and she will be helping out every other Saturday at the Fayetteville Farmer’s Market! Yeah! She starts in two weeks! She did all my Medicaid billing back in the Circle of Life Hospice days. Again, more later, after I get her pictures! She is from Germany and has a beautiful accent!
One of the most exciting things about today….several people told me they had been checking out our website and blog!!!!! www.oliveloom.com
