Our linen jacket was featured on the fabrics-store.com website promoting their upcoming Studio contest.
We've been using this imported European linen for five years now. We love it for several reasons.
1. You can wash and dry it!
2. Superior feel and quality.
3. Durable. I'm still wearing mine to the market after five years of washing and drying! Wrinkles fall out now.
This linen jacket was made by Alma.
Alma started sewing for us several years ago and loves sewing our linen jackets and vests.
She's got a system all worked out at her house, so you know everyone is made with local love in every stitch.
Alma is a young 80 now. She is a retired bookkeeper who is very active with her church, family, high school friends and great, great grand kids!
She is happily married to Richard who I found out is distantly related to me. Richard picks up and drops off sewing between mowing the lawn, working on genealogy for the Deloziers, lunching with high school friends and doing the church books!
Alma enjoys sewing and the extra money she earns working at home!
They're our in-house love birds!
