Being Connected

January 10, 2018

Connection is a core Value for us.  Connection is a Quality Attribute that makes us who we are.  Why?  Community Connection energizes our creative nature.  It is contagious.

We Connect to Everything, meaning there is a story.  Everything includes........community,customers, families, fellow workers, online friends, friends of friends, kids, fur babies, other businesses, neighbors and even Mother Earth......connection is one of our core values.

We love and feel energized with connection and this spurs creativity.  Especially creative sewing!

How does a soup microwaveable soup cozy fit into this scenario?

Community:  Fayetteville's Winter Farmer's Market folks love picking out their favorite colors in a stack of soup cozies.

Customers:  A Farmer's Market customer brought us her very used soup cozy so we could make her some for Christmas gift giving.......we did.

Families:  "I love my soup cozy, you got me, Leah.  I've used it every day since Christmas" said my ex-husband to our beautiful daughter.

Fellow - workers:  "Let's make some bigger ones for casseroles".  We did as we were making the initial patterns.  Customers bought the bigger ones first!

Friends of Friends:  "Oh my goodness, these are great" told by a DC friend visiting Jason,  my oldest son in Florida.  I introduced them to slow cooker home cooking while we were visiting over the holidays.  All Four of them got handcrafted soup coozies with their Christmas cards.

Kids:  Our Math soup cozy was filled with cookies for the kiddos.

Fur Baby:  Dog & Cat bowls are cradled in their own soup cozy made from paw print fabrics.

Neighbors & Friends:  Favorite Chicken Soup & recipe included when given to folks suffering from winter colds and the flu.

Mother Earth:  The fabric soup cozy is made out of our left over apron fabrics so they don't go to the land fill!

Stop at the shop at 421 N. College, Fayetteville, Arkansa and pick yours out.  They're perfect hostess gifts.   And you can tell their story and that they are all individually made by a local woman.

Woman helping woman.
