Imagine our surprize when making WAVE neck wraps for all the summer "field organizers" and volunteers.
We found environmentally safe water beads to put in them........and the company was located in Fayetteville, Arkansas! Watersorb.
"I'll just drop your order off at your shop since I live in that area." Paula, the Watersorb lady tells me.
"Call me and I'll run outside to get the waterbeads, so you don't have to get out of the truck with your knee acting up." I offer.
It was really fun then meeting another woman about my age, running a business!
It is indeed a small world.
Linda made the 4 chambers in the neck wrap. I filled each one of them and double pinned them. Then Linda sewed them up.
When you soak the neck wraps in water, the water beads absorb the water, and swell up. As the water evaporates, you get the cooling effect of the evaporation.
Last summer, I mailed Leah commercially purchased neck wraps, this year we're making them!!!
And I'm going to make a cooling Hawaiian shirt for our furry friends! Like the warming coat with corn bags!
Bongo wouldn't take his coat off yesterday! The corn bags felt soooo good.
Creative energy and connection abounds at Olive Loom! You'll love it. Come see where the magic happens.
